This year has been full of up and downs, new adventures and fun times. Grayson started preschool this year after a successful summer at Nana's. He loves his school and is learning so much. This year also saw My little sister moving out in August and back in, in December. We are glad to have her back even though we know she would rather be at University Park. We look forward to spending more time with her and as Grayson says, Denise is HOME!! I am so glad that he is having so many opportunities to get to know all of his Grandparents and extended family. Growing up I did not have this and I feel it is so important for him to have as many of these experiences as possible.
This year has been full of new learning experiences as I was accepted into the Honors program and began the journey towards completing a thesis. I also started working at school in lost and found and love my job. I am grateful for these experiences.
Grayson is learning so much so quickly. He has mastered all his sounds and is starting on basic math. He is so happy to be at school and he goes in each day with a smile on his face. He is so proud of the work he brings home. He has started sounding out words in his books and is anxious to start reading the stories. He loves to make up his own.
Greg is busy trying to balance being the primary caregiver and work. He is learning a lot this year and has taken on the additional work with a smile. He is happy as always to have so much time to spend with Grayson. He is truly a fantastic Father. I am happy to say his cooking has improved, and he is able to now do the majority of the grocery shopping! I am so glad he has been willing to support me in my taking on of harder classes, and bigger dreams.
We are excited for what the new year will bring! Grayson looks forward to many trips to his Grandparents and Nana and JaJa's. He loves going to visit and talks non-stop about his adventures. Greg is hopeful to begin a new chapter with either a new job or Grad school which ever comes our way. We hope that the new year will bring more opportunities for him. I am just looking forward to continuing my goals with school and further developing my new friendships that I made this year.
