Fourth of July!

So there are a number of reason why I have not blogged in the past few weeks. But I will not bore you with my crazy day to day life. Instead this is what has been going on the past two weeks.

Greg, Grayson, Our Niece Alyssa and myself all decided to go to fireworks in Harrisburg on the Fourth.
It was alot of Fun Grayson loved it!

Grayson was not thrilled with getting into the car. It was also actually Bedtime so he was not that happy.

Here he is with me. We got there about 5 mins into the Fireworks.
So we did not have the best view but it was ok.

Here is Miss Alyssa or "Lisya" as Grayson calls her.

Here is Grayson he moved to Daddy's lap as soon as he could.

Here is a shot of the fireworks. Go figure that train moved about 15 min AFTER the fireworks were over.

Grayson kept saying WOOOW!

There was not much to take pictures of. Grayson Clapped alot when the fireworks were going and over. He LOVED them.

After Fireworks we figured we would set off sparklers. Alyssa loves these apparently.

Greg and Alyssa wanted Grayson to hold on and I was not so keen on it but he did and he is fine and nothing happened.

He loved it! So Happy Fourth of July!

Now for some other snap shots of what we have been up to!

Our Very own Einstien! Grayson really needs a haircut but I just don't have it in me to cut it again.

Alyssa has been staying with us for two weeks and Grayson LOVES having her around to play with.

Here they are outside playing bubbles

Alyssa has been here to help make dresses for her "Trek" which is usually at least a three day hike in period clothing using period handcarts and eating mush. I remember when I went to mine and it was amazing I loved it!

Here is her Sunday Best Outfit. A side view of her bonnet.

This dress has since been hemmed. I just wanted to get the picture while I could.

SUPER CUTE!!!

This is her everyday dress which is actually the dress I wore on my Trek. We made the apron and fixed it up I had ripped the hem out when I wore it and it was never fixed.

I love the crown braid on her. I have braided her hair almost everyday this week!

I hope she has fun!
