Hazel's finished projects!

So I have been working on a variety of projects and wanted to share them with all of you.
I can not show all of them because the majority are for Christmas, but I can show these!

This was a wedding gift for a friend of ours. They are such a cute couple. I wanted to do something for them that showed how much we love them. Also something they could remember those beautiful moments of their wedding day!

These little blankets are for a cause called greyson's gift. More information can be found on it at greysonsgift.blogspot.com. In a nutshell this wonderful woman sadly lost her baby in what is termed "fetal demise" and she decided to begin collecting blankets for babies and mothers that suffer the same fate. These blankets are tiny only 12x12 inches, I cannot imagine a baby that small but they are. I felt so saddened by her loss and so encouraged by her strength and will to accomplish her goals that I was driven to help out. These blankets were originally supposed to be only yellow, but being the novice sewer I am I accidently cut them an inch to small. So to make them the right size I decided to use different flannel to make a border. I think it makes them look cute. I sent these three in to see if they are ok for her use and hope they are because it really helped me fulfill a need in myself to make these. I love participating in causes like this one. Where I know I will make a difference to one person in a small way.

That is it for now. I may post some more projects later, if I remember to take pictures!
